Seriously, I have no life.
While she says Palin should have a sense of humor, she can't know the heartbreak of having a child with Down Syndrome, even though she has it. There's a difference between the two and there are different levels of affliction. Trig may be less able than the actress is and since she has always been the way she is, she knows no other life.

I'm sure that if she asked her parents if they were devastated when they found that she has Down Syndrome, they would say they were, if they answer honestly.

You also seem to be asserting that, for example, I can't joke about my own cancer because it might offend my parents (who had a child with cancer... me).

Finally: I don't see that the joke is about Palin's kid... who she carries everywhere and mentions at every possible moment. It seems more at her.

Why isn't there a similar complaint at all the homosexual jokes, BDSM jokes, parapalegic jokes, "guy with helmet who drools" jokes, people with artifical limbs jokes, erectile disfunction jokes, etc.

Does Palin even watch Family Guy? Is she outraged over something she only saw because she heard she should be outraged?

Agreed, and is she honestly outraged, or is it worse, is she using this for more time in the spotlight?

The family guy is known for taking stabs at conservatives and I would have to say that "I am the daughter of the former governor of Alaska" is directed at Palin, who just so happens to have a child with DS.

The difference between homo jokes, bdsm jokes, etc... is that most of them are not directed towards someone specific and they are joked about in more of a broad sense....Not to mention, they normally aren't directed towards someone who was running for VP of the USA.

It's quite clear that Seth Macfarlane hates Conservatives...and I don't have a problem with that. If I were Palin, I probably would have kept that to myself, or maybe gave Seth Macfarlane a call.

Though they bash everyone (recall that Clinton not only bedded Lois, but Peter as well), I agree there's something of a pro-left lean.

And yes, I suspect this was a stab at Palin constantly reminding us she has a kid with DS. I suspect that the one line was pointed at her rather than the entire skit. I think she was a target of opportunity.

Mayor Adam West hates when individuals are targeted... and whomever is stealing his water. I remember he gave a speech on it at James Woods HS.

I know they've also gone after Kiss (especially the one "no one wants to be, not even himself", and several porn stars, Martha Steward, the entire cast of ST-TNG ("Riker, if I said that Worf's head looked like an *** would you share a laugh with me?") James Woods (who was the Griffon's dog for a while), etc. and don't get me started on Hawkings abusing a spouse in an identical chair)

You might not agree with Obama policies but he is certainly not a moron. I would give that title to Sarah though. If she runs for president, she might have to start applying anti-perspirant on the palms of her hands. :D :p

No, just the typical about face do the bidding of big banking and screw the little guy.Normal politics thats all.Yes the Sheep put him in office as it was for SURE the lesser of 2 evils.IMO of course.....;)
