Yeah, many teams are looking good about now. Nova and Syracuse both are impressive imho. Looks like March Madness is going to be "off the chains" so to speak. Can't wait until the brackets come out! ;);) It won't be soon enough if you ask me.

Update!

Well, KY beat Mississippi State last night in overtime 81-75. This was a nail biter from the get go. Looked like a tennis match with so many lead changes/ties. Although KY won, MS played their heart out. Kudos to Rick Stansbury for a fantastic job of coaching. MS's best player did not play last night due to some discipline issues. Not sure what is going on there, but if he had played, things may have turned out differently. For the time being, I am proud that KY is ranked at #2 in the nation with a 25-1 record!

Yeah, there are a lot of good teams out there for sure. Some of which, should be ranked higher. Mississippi State is one of them. The rest of KY's schedule is not going to be easy as the SEC has some very good teams. The cool thing is it won't be long and March Madness will be here! ;);) Good luck to your Bears.

Folks, the UK Wildcats beat the University of S. Carolina Gamecocks last nite 82-61. I am amazed at how great KY did. For the first time this season, I am really impressed. Kudos to Patrick Patterson for really stepping-up his game. I also would like to mention that USC's Devan Downey is absolutely amazing! The kid can hit shots from literally downtown. There are only (3) more regular season games left. KY looks to end up with a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. However, I am a bit worried about UK's inconsistent 3-point shooting. Come tournament time, that situation may get them in a lot of trouble. We will know soon enough!

Well, I am a bit bummed out that my Wildcats lost to TN today in Knoxville. I have to give TN credit for doing what they did. Also, KY deserves some respect for coming back 19-points down to tie the game. It turns out, however, that TN was able to hold on down the stretch. KY is young and still has many things to learn. Hopefully, they will be ready come tournament time. March Madness will be here before you know it! Personally, I can NOT hardly wait.

Glad to hear the bears are looking good. I sure hope you are right regarding what happened to KY today. Kansas just lost to Oklahoma State. Travis Ford is a very good coach. Not to mention, and he once played for KY. It looks like Syracuse will move up to #1. Gosh, it is almost tournament time. I am soooooo excited!

Well it was in Stillwater which is a gorgeous arena. It's very hard to beat the Cowboys there.

Scott Drew has to be coach of the decade for taking a team from the brink the death penalty to 3 straight postseason appearances and 20 win seasons.

Yeah, I noticed the arena was top-notch. At least, Travis Ford is doing a great job. They may, in fact, be underrated imho. Very strong showing from what I remember in last years NCAA tournament. I look for them to do quite well this year. Like all things, it is just a matter of time before we will truly know. Good luck to your bears btw. ;):);) Hope all is well my friend.

Yeah, I am sure they will as TX has been in a slump as of late. Well, at least compared to their great start. However, teams like that can still be dangerous come tournament time. Take GA for instance, they have a terrible SEC record but yet are still a decent team. In fact, I would not be at all surprised to see them face KY in the SEC tournament. It is hard to beat a team 3-times in a single season. Things are gearing up to make for a great March Madness tournament. Good luck to your Bears.

Who does everyone think will pull it out in the tourney? There has been such a influx of number one teams this year. Ups and downs all around. I still think Syracuse has a great chance as does Kansas. Any small schools looking good?

Woman's tourney is so much easier, UConn wins that is all :D

Kentucky has been my pic all year, but it really depends on the draw. Wall has a rare ability to pass that only Jason Kidd and Chris Paul currently match.

Kansas survived the big 12 with only 1 loss so they are very good too. I see the sweet 16 being composed mostly of big 12 and big east teams.

Texas only lost 1 game out of conference and couldn't even win 1 games in it.

LOL....sure. The only thing is, you never know which KY team will show up. Hopefully, they will continue to play just as they did today. Maybe they will play just as well tomorrow. Good luck to your Bears! ;):);)
