Nope he's been in it 65 times. Which is a lot for any QB. That's like 5 a year somebody get that boy some help.
Wow! That's a lot. I wonder how he manages to get behind so often, not have comebacks but then manage to win so much.

Big Ben always had the Steelers defence to back him up.
I'm talking about what I saw this year. It was very impressive.

It's really a silly argument they are all great QBs. Manning is the best overall qb of the decade for sure. He's just slipped a tad. I'd still take him over Romo any day of the week.

It's a plot to pass Elway lol. Actually he gets better as a game progresses.

lol. Is he better than Jim Kelly? :D
Not sure if you are referring to Romo or Manning but..

Manning > Kelly > Romo :p

Peyton manning is the closest description of Jim Kelly in terms of the style because of immobility factor/pocket passer and the ability to call his own plays and the no huddle offense. Manning is clearly a better quarterback than Kelly though. One of Kelly's strongest suits was his toughness, leadership and demanding the most out of his teammates.

Kelly was a great one. Manning is my favorite QB to watch for sure and Brees is number 2 on that list. This game will be great. So Close I'm not sure who's gonna win anymore. I just hope for overtimes.

I just hope the superbowl is close in the 4th quarter. I would not want to see overtime.

Overtime brings the element of randomness/luck because of the coin toss coupled with the flawed structure of OT where the first team that scores points wins. I just want to see who is the better team after a full 4 quarters.

lol I was going to correct you until I realized you are an hour ahead lol.

I think that's good news for Brees. Freeney is a beast in the pass rush.

Congratulations to Drew Brees, Sean Payton (as well as the rest of the team), and especially to the city and fans of New Orleans on their first NFL championship. Well deserved and again congratulations!

Yup, good for them. My oldest called me before the game to let me know he was in Vegas on business and just happened to have a freebie pass to the VIP room at Planet Hollywood where he'll be watching the game with free buffet, drinks, and entertainment. Some kids just don't know how to be grateful their father didn't use a condom :D

After years of misery you finally get one. I'm glad for Brees. I just wish it hadn't come on the mistakes of two other great QBs. For now Brees is the indisputable Super Bowl Champion QB. Congrats! How I wish I could go to Mardi Gras this week.

The Onside Kick was awesome! And don't put shock collars on dogs. I did learn that much.

Mistakes, bah. Remember the Saints were up by a TD when Porter made that INT, and he did a great job of jumping the route.

It's no coincidence that the Saints - and Porter in particular - made a crucial INT in two straight games.

Have you sobered up yet??? :D:D:D

Congratulations!
I don't think anyone in my family back home has even made it to bed yet. I wish I had made it down there.

Another note on that INT, from a CBS Sports article:

It should be noted that Porter credited the coaching staff for the interception, saying someone on staff noticed how Colts receiver Austin Collie tipped off a certain pass to Reggie Wayne when he went in motion from an inverted formation. Well, that play had the inverted formation. And Collie went in motion.

"It was great film study," Porter said. "The coaching staff did a great job preparing us. ... I saw [Collie] do that, and I jumped the route and the ball came right into my hands."

Brees is a class act and a half. He deserved it, and the city deserved it. The city is a better city with him in it, and I think Brees is a better person because of New Orleans. A great, great relationship.
