I lost my father a year and a half ago, and now this

I feel so helpless and lost. How can you have faith or stay strong when the worst possible scenario is always happening to you?

I feel extremely dumb, staring here for I don't know how long, trying to think of something proper and meaningful to say. The only thing I can say for now is that we will be here for you.

Do you happen to have extended family nearby?

When I was younger, just having turned 11 years old, my baby sister died from a heart problem that she was born with.

I have one brother, and if he died, I don't know what I would be like. I cannot imagine what you are feeling right now.

Wow, very sorry to hear that. It is never easy to lose anyone, and even that much harder when they are close.

It was a unusually quiet Christmas this year without my grandfather, this being the first one without him, but oddly enough it didn't really hit me hard until two days ago when I was at my house looking at a picutre of him.

Today we went to Dover AFB to watch the Dignified Transfer. It was quite an emotional ceremony. For those unaware of what it is, its pretty much the welcome back ceremony onto US soil.
