Based on a thread I saw at TCA, this was distributed as an email, presumably to people waiting on LS-9's.
I'm not sure why anyone would assume that a shop as small as Ruben's appeared to be (I got the impression that it is a one-man shop) would represent a viable primary production source for pairs of 7+ foot tall speaker cabinets. Even if all he did was build LS-9 cabinets, one person alone could only produce a trickle of cabinets, especially when the finishes involved are as complex and multi-stage. Adding a CNC machine to cut out MDF would help, but it's not going to produce miracles in the assembly or finishing stages. If you want to build these in any sort of useful volume, I'd think you'd want to employ some sort of factory.
