Road Trip to OK

In the next couple of days I am going to drive out to Oklahoma City from the Boston/Providence area. My thought is to take I-84 from Hartford to I-81 and head south to Knoxville where I can stop in at my g/f's sister's to visit with her family and rest up for the second leg of the drive.

Right off the top of my head I can think of 4 members that I would like to meet and visit with that are on the way. Our schedules and my course will probably make this a no-go but I just thought that I would mention it. I planned to leave here Sunday at midnight so that I could get to Knoxville around supper time on Monday but I'm flexible and willing to let this sort of take it's own course ... so long as it doesn't take me a month to get to Oklahoma.

Oh yeah, route tips and tricks would be appreciated as well. Thanks.

I could take I-95 to I-78 and see ya around 6:00 AM. I'll bring the coffee.

That's assuming that I can get some shut eye in on Sunday during the day and head out at midnight. Of course I understand that you'll have a household trying to get it together for a work/school week so ...

... but I would swing by with coffee.

Ya know...I should read your posts more thoroughly. I completely glossed over the leaving Sunday a midnight part.

The boys first day back at school Monday...and I'm on vacation the week after so taking time off would be bad. Dang it!

You had me all excited until I realized I am ultimately going to OKC from Knoxville. That will put me 700 miles away from Nashville before the Emofest.
