The Dawg Crusher still has a rattle. Chris designed the giant ported box for me and I found my builder but put it on hold when I started the pool. I will get back to it at some point.

It looks like it will clear up for a few days. I think I need to seriously swing by when everything is done so we can get some pics for the AH community.

If you spent this much time and effort on this you have a right to show it off.

plus that Dawg Crusher is something I do want to see.

Take some of my rain, I don't want it right now! I am sure the rain will stop right after I lay the new sod which is when I need rain.

Tile guys got here early this morning so I should have some decent pictures this evening.

The day before I was going to order the planters from AZ, I found a local business that does concrete castings. They made my planters for 150 bucks each.

It is so rain dependant right now it's hard to say. We are having a mild shower right now but the tile guys are working through it. It is supposed to be bad again tomorrow.

If they finish the back wall, tile and coping today, we will lay out the deck design tomorrow. If we stay on track, we could pour the deck early next week, plaster late in ther week and fill the darn thing Sunday or Monday. I figure two weeks to be worst case unless the rain continues.

How was vacation?

Vacation was good. Drank a large amount of scotch (brough home a Glenmorangie LaSanta) and did some cycling in the rain. We hiked into Glenn Nevis with the kids and had a nice picnic by Steal Falls (as seen in some of the Potter movies). Most of the time was just spent with the family. It was my first visit after Ian's death so it was a bit subdued in some ways than usual.

We are just using the basic 500watt pool light.

Don't feel bad about the rain. The rain will help cure that concrete. It's a good thing.

Are you on city water? If so, you might want to call the water department and find out if they have a low one time fee for filling your pool. Let them know so your water bill doesn't come in sky high.

Yes we are on City water. They have it set up so you pay sewage fees equal to water usage. It is in my day planner to go ask them for a special fee tomorrow.
