Farrah was definitely a sex symbol in the 70's, but that's about it. It wasn't like she was a great actress or anything. MJ was definitely odd, and who knows if he was really a pedophile or not. But NO ONE can deny that he was one of the greatest entertainers of all time. His stage shows were incredible! I may not have liked him as a person, but I sure as hell liked him as a performer. Rest in peace MJ.

I'm only in my mid 20s though, so, I never saw him as a handsome black man, only as a white pedophile. I saw a picture when he was a kid in the Jackson 5 and he looked completely normal, plus he had a kickass afro.

Michael Jackson had buckets of talent, and most of it was wasted because of his bizarrely disfunctional adult life (I'm trying to speak kindly of the dead, I could say a lot worse). He was musically productive only for a brief period in the early to mid 80s.

I turn 40 this year and I still remember the Thriller video as completely mind blowing. You know, back when MTV actually played music.

I remember Thriller, Beat it, Billie Jean, and all his great videos, but his glory ended well over twenty years ago and hasn't done anything of (artistic) worth since. Ever since then he's been the unofficial poster boy for NAMBLA, and that creeps me out. Oh, I and turn 60 on Saturday.

I totally disagree. This day will be long remembered. Just as the day Elvis, and John Lennon died.
