Gotta give credit where credit is due.

I do have to say, MJ made killer videos and raised the bar for that medium.

And, I think Wierd Al Yankovick is gonna be out of a job...

Farrah Fawcet got to heaven, and God said to her "Farrah, you lived a benovolent life. Ask of me one wish, and I shall grant it."

Farrah Fawcet said "I just want all the children in the world to be safe and healthy."

God said "For so noble a wish, I shall grant it most hastily."

God then proceeded to kill Michael Jackson. :D

No, seriously, I loved Michael when he was Michael. Between plastic surgeons and criminal allegations, he became villified, but his talent and philanthropy shouldn't be denied. We may not agree with his preference to be "overly friendly" with young children, but I won't judge him based on media coverage and allegations.

People prey on those with money, and he was a perfect target for poor families looking to get paid. And get paid they did indeed. Just remember that. They all ended in settlements. Who is the real villain here? The man who was accused of misconduct, or the person who settled out of court monetarily in a matter involving the well-being of their child?

Truly a disgusting joke, and all the while we are speaking of a Man whom which was found not guilty in our courts.
A stupid joke while the Man lies on a Medical Examiners table, Dead.
Why some folks have such a mindset no respect at all.
I for one thought this forums' Members had more class.

Sorry to say, but I laughed my @$$ off when I read that. :)

That's comedy for ya. No subject should be taboo. It's all funny, or nothing can be funny.

I hope people make totally inappropriate jokes about me when I die.

Haha, werd, me too. My biggest fear of death is that all the time I spent trying to make people smile, will all end with a bunch of people frowning.. and thinking " no, we shouldn't tell the story about when he left his keys, had to break into his own place, the cops were called, searched the place and about the time they were going to leave satisfied it was his house there was a 5-ft bong on the couter" I'd rather be remembered as imperfect than some kind of last minute story of what I should have been.

I agree... there is always so much sorrow associated with death. We know it exists, yet we mourn every time someone dies. If and when I die... I don't want people to mourn, I want them to be happy and tell jokes. Smoke a bowl while burying me, and toss a bag of nug in with me. I only wish I could pull a prank on someone during my funeral... maybe I need some offspring to carry on my dirty work.

[EDIT: Oh yeah... the MJ thing... he's dead. He made some great music, but then... he didn't make such great music and there were too many allegations to eschew without being able to "cast the first stone". I give him my respects in his perfection of music in the eighties...]

MJ died 20 years ago. We just had to wait until now to hold the funeral.

I'll say up front that I'm not a Michael Jackson fan and I admit to being amused by some rather tasteless jokes about him that I won't repeat. In the end, I feel sorry for him. He never got to be a kid and now he won't get to be old either. He had a ****ed up life but still managed to become the king of pop. Rest in peace and don't let the bastards grind you down.
