Hi all,

My wife just received a job offer in Louisville, KY. Any one from around there?

I have a ton of questions to ask. I will start with two:

1. Know of a good realtor
2. What are some areas to look at

Have a $200k budget. Could spend more but we decided years ago to only live on one income.

Congrats on the offer!!! It sounds like your wife is going to take it. So, what exactly does she do? BTW, Louisville is about (2) hours SW from where I reside. Perhaps, when things settle down we can do lunch or something? Hey, I will buy you a beer-I have to drink diet soda though. :):p:)

Cheers,

Phil

In all seriousness though,

My family usually visits Kentucky each year... since I was eight or so. We've been through Louisville quite a few times! :p I love it down there... their hospitality is amazing and the food is great (nothing like FRIED biscuits and gravy)... of course, expect to put on a few pounds if you are going to eat like that :D

We stay at ... this place: http://parks.ky.gov/findparks/resortparks/lc/

Lake Cumberland is such a beautiful place... you're lucky to be moving somewhere near it :)

And you will be right within distance of Six Flags: Kentucky Kingdom!!! Yay! Any future children should surely be pleased :p

Holiday World is only about 75-80 miles from Louisville. Kentucky Kingdom is a lot of fun too. ;):);) Here is a link for Holiday World:

Sorry I missed your other thread, so I offer my congratulations here. Can't help with any KY questions. I have no experience with KY.:D

I could only imagine how sore you must be...:D
Holy Moly, that came back to zing me in an unexpected way. I guess I should say I have no experience with or without KY.

All I can really say about Kentucky is that my Corvette was built there and that's working out great for me.:D
