When you live in an apartment, you simply have to accpet the fact that you will hear your neighbors. If you were making noise at an inappropriate time that would be one thing, but during the day, which is 8:00 am to 10:00 pm to me for the most part, he can't say a frigging thing. I'd tell him to go f* himself too. A guy downstairs from me tried to pull that crap too when I was in an apartment and I called the managment and told them "If he comes to my place again to complain I will beat the s*** out of him, so you better take care of it first."

I would talk to the building mgr and see if he or she hears anything from your system.Other than that get a long extension cord carry your sub to his front door and crank up some Pantera for him If he continues his rude attack ignore him and enjoy your rig.......the building mgr should be made aware of this toolbags actions for sure........

Yeah John you got it right. If he came to my door between 8 am and 10pm I would tell him to pound salt,good luck doing anything about it at those hours. After 10 pm I can see the problem but anything else the guy can eat a bag o D***.............

The rules says that you should not continusly make noise that will disturb your neighbour. Though you can hit your rug to clean it and make as much noise you do it between 8am - 10pm.

I'm not sure but i think the manager will take his side. I dont want to play any race card (as a foreigner), but he could be biased. He has showed that once. Even though I dont want to believe it. My wife is a native though.

Could it really be because I have a nice rig, and an attractive wife (just kidding, well not about the attractive part).

You could always play your stereo and leave it on then go check around your room.

And then ask if he could recognize any resemblence?
