All right, now you're talking! Good.
Wow! $675 for the Monitor 7, each! That's a ripp off. Forget it.
You said before that the full set of Canton speakers was about $450?
And the Onkyo TX-SR607 about $530 or so?
So now, you are at about $1,000. Do you feel comfortable with that?
Maybe you should get that second set of Cantons that you just show me, and get a receiver less expensive. What do you think?
Do you have access at some good deals from Denon, Marantz, Yamaha, or Pioneer?
I believe that if you want to spend close to $1,000 on speakers (5.1 system) and a receiver (don't forget speaker wires too and some interconnects and HDMI cables), you should allow about 70% of your budget (roughly) to the speakers, so about $700 for the full set of speakers, incuding the sub, and $300 on the receiver. And about 10% should go on all your cables.
So would you like more options for other receivers that cost less money, so you can get that second set of Canton speakers? How much is that 2nd set by the way?
Find any luck yet on the speakers section?
And do you agree with me on my last PM to you?
Take your time, don't rush it, that's the only thing that you really have at this point, TIME. And that's a precious ally. It's your best friend, almost better than your girlfriend.
And speakers are like girlfriends, you have to taste few before you get the right one.

Then getting the receiver is the fun part, it's like making love in perfect harmony.
Cheers,
Bob
