Build quality, they Wyred is just more well thought out, whether all those tweaks they did to the unit as they state make a huge difference I'm not sure, but I'm very happy with my new amp...
Gene wasn't very clear about his answer, whether it was how much power at THD or how much power at all....

Chances of you ever using all that power are slim to none anyways, those amps will most likely be at idle 90% of the time, and will produce very low percentage THD until you reach those incredible wattage outputs.
The Axiom amp at most can provide 1400w total divided up between all channels driven, and from all the reading I have done on that amp its not really the most reliable either... ask RMK!
I'm not trying to sell anything, but if the IcePower amps were no good, I would think that Kal Rubinson wouldn't continue to use them as his base amps for his B&W 802Ds in his system... And he just upgraded to the Bel Canto Ref 1000 MkII's Hmmmm
