This was going to be my study. My wife wanted it as a parlor and my son wanted it as a music room. If only he would keep it a little straigther. Only Jamie can appreciate the number and different types of instruments.
How many can you find ??

Take care,

Piano, keyboard, soprano, alto and tenor sax, bass recorder, guitar, trombone, harmonica, looks like a recorder in a bag in front of the bone, something I can't make out beside that and maybe a clarinet or flute case partially hidden behind the bone.

Very Good Davemcc :)

Not bad Dave :) There is also an acoustic guitar with a Crate amp, WX5 (eletronic sax) , alto , soprano, tenor recorders ( not sure they are in the picture). and yes several harmonicas a hidden Yamaha receiver in the bookcase connected to some really cheap speakers (301s). There is a trumpet and a bugle somewhere also. plus reeds, meters, metronomes, etc.

LOL,

Does your son look towards Rahsaan Roland Kirk for inspiration?:D:eek:

btw, for musical instruments, I also see . . . floor, couch, table, clock, pens, glass, plates, books, lava lamp, latches, cabinet, blinds . . .:p:eek::p:eek:

Just don't ever let these guys into the house~!

Main Influence Kenny G.

Oh yah I forgot his clarinet.

However, it all started when he got a $3 plastic recorder and then thought he lost it. When we got him the second one and he could play both at the same time was the start.

His big deal now is to record and post UTube videos. He has 25 or so posted. If you are interested look up WX5 and one of his recordings is

It reminds me of our music room way back when. I played soprano, alto and tenor sax and clarinet. My brother had a trumpet and flugelhorn and my younger brother played Tuba. At the time, my Dad owned a piano and music store so needless to say all our musician friends hung out at our place. Also, at that time, I ran a little production company with a friend that did staging, lighting and music, primarily doing fashion shows and wedding DJ stuff. I only did audio for one high school band, but at the time I thought I would have Jamie's life. Now, I live vicariously through Jamie.:D

Back then, I did have an old curved soprano sax, shaped like a regular sax but really small. The guy that owns that sax now toured with George Benson.

Mid ol' buddy, I have some bad news. The trombone?.....really? If your son brings home a "boyfriend" don't say I didn't warn you.

No nothing like that , he just likes playing the really low notes. So far I have talked him out of a tuba. ... and if he could afford he would get a contra-bass sax

Later shock ... need to go find out what time it is :D
