Man, you guys definitely listen to some unique music. I haven't heard of many of these groups.

Well that's the idea behind this thread I guess, to get new ideas :D

Tonight it's a favorite, Wilco's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. If this were classical music, somebody would invent a 2 dollar name like "neo-constructivism" for this CD. Millions of little pieces, a note here, a ding there, a piano line, bass notes, keyboards and synths and some drums, all put together into a brilliant whole. Random noises, xylophones, crescendos, echo-ey, atonal singing and quiet vocal choruses and swirling organ chords all add into the chaos. Now and again a simple, easy simple song happens. When it's all done, however, it all sticks together and make sense. Wow.

Obama's induction speech....:D
Yeah. I timed my lunch to see it. A food court in downtown Baltimore with a bunch of TVs. Usually it's full of chaos and people wandering around with trays and the TVs are tuned to ESPN or the Car Crash Channel but today, every eye was on the screens and when the oath was done, a big cheer broke out. I think somebody was singing "Ding dong the witch is dead" and big bunch of flying monkeys left the White House.

Yesterday I took a trip down memory lane while doing some domestic engineering type work.

April Wine "Best Of"
Trooper "Hot Shots"

I haven't played either of them for at least 20 years.

Uncivilized,rude,...

In the spirit of ethic hour I'll put this up:

It didn't really belong over at the best male voice thread. ;)
Man,show some respect, what is the level of your stupidity!
If you didn't like the way he sang,it is OK.Nobody asks you to like it,but it is not polite to be so much uncivilized and rude when I am talking about somebody who was loved by everybody.R.I.P. Tose :(
God,give a brain to these poor souls:(

Sense of humor when talking about something that is not funny at all? Sorry, but I don't have sense of humor in that case.
I am not insulting members, it is just this aleks guy,who don't know what he is joking with, that is all. AND I AM SORRY IF I INSULT ANYBODY:eek:

Right now I'm listening to what is one of my Top 3 fave albums. Probably not known to most of you, but I was fortunate enough to be exposed to them while living in Montreal for nearly 20 years.

Fiori-Seguin: Deux Cents Nuits a l'Heure!

I think I see where you misunderstood me.

I meant that what I posted did not belong in the other thread that was for the best male singing voice.

I posted what I posted here in this thread because it is a song that I like and I was actually listening to it.

If you just calm down and think this through you will see that I meant no disrespect to you or a man with a fine voice. All this talk of me being uncivilized, rude, stupid and brainless from a guy who simply didn't understand the nuances of English doesn't look good.

Now acknowledge your mistake, apologize and don't go calling anybody else names until you have been here for longer than 3 days.

BTW: Welcome to Audioholics.

Thanks Jamie.

I wasn't making any jokes though. I simply posted a foreign language song that although enjoyable to me does not qualify in the best voice category. Just a little misunderstanding is all but I seem to be having my share of them lately.

You wouldn't find yourself in all this trouble, if you had your old flag avatar up.;) Chances are Vladimir would've recognized it.
But no, you had to change it to a monkey.:D

I actually had to change it. Somebody emailed Gene and said it was Nazi so I had to take it down. Hence my sig. I hate it when people mistake fascists for Nazis.

Me and Vladimir are on opposite sides anyways, of that I'm sure.
