To answer your questions guys... Hostility the MB Quarts are all matching center channels, and the tower's have taken a little time to get use to... Granted the tower's don't dig as deep as the MB Quarts, but they will do for now. I found the Polk center has a hard time trying to keep up with the R-50's... I'm tempted to move the entire Polk system to my living room and bring the MB Quarts up to my bedroom...
MidnightSensi I plan on going in a different direction when it comes to replacing what I have. I had the chance to demo a set (5.1-center, towers, and bookshelfs) of BG (Z series) loudspeakers not too long ago. I enjoyed the planar magnetic tweeters... There is an actual dealer not too far from my house. I know theaudioinsider.com carries the Acculine brand which is very similar in design as the BG's... So there is an alternative... Another option would be Adam Audio speaker brand
http://www.adam-audio.com/hifi/english/index.htm... The only time I've actually listened to their stuff was when I stopped by my local Sam Ash store... They had a pair of A7 monitors which had the characteristic of the BG's that I was looking for... If all else fails, I can always take out a small business loan for some Aerial speakers lol... Man I miss my employee's discount at Audio A$%$#*... I had a lot to choose from... Aerial, Wilson, Linn, B&W, Martin Logan, Vandersteen, Era, Genelec, and etc... It was 40% to 60% off of the manufact's price... That even applied to B-Stock B&W's direct from the factory. Good thing I was able to pick up some items before I left... Three Rotel RMB-1066 for $380 each and one RB-1070 for the same price (all brand new)... As well as some other stuff which will be used in my parent's theater rooms...
And yes Adwilk my components are in the closet... The only other option would be to velcro them to the ceiling lol...
