Ok, got the speakers finally and set them up. Have played around a little with positioning and settings, we are just keeping them flat at the moment so we can feel them out and then tinker.
We used alot of blu ray movies to test out the speakers. I have found Batman The Dark Knight is particularly good for testing your sound system, lots of bass, explosions, gun shots and dialogue in short clips. The first 10 minutes are excellent for auditioning sound systems.
The SUB550 is so smooth, warm, and controlled. But by no means muddy, it handled heavy bass scenes beautifully like the start from Dark Knight. This SUB knows no limits, I was scared to go higher because we were shaking the fish tank... UPSTAIRS

just how we like it.
Now for the towers, the highs are very crisp, clean bass, not underpowered but not boomy, nicely balanced. They also have a nice wide dispersion, I couldnt find any dead spots in the room which is actually quite big.
The center is very similar to the towers, same sound signature of course, It handles mens and womens voices fine, they come through very crisp.
This is only after listening for a day so maybe after a few weeks I can provide a better opinion. For now though I can say I heard a lot of other speakers like Jensen, B&W, Klipsch etc Some were double the price and these blew them out of the water, these are not my speakers either (they are $aba's who posted earlier, I helped him pick everything

) so I can assure you its not a biased opinion.
