Have you ever read the Bible? God created man with the freedom of choice/ free will. Man has chosen to be imoral. God didnt creat man that way. No matter how much people try and legitimize or explain away the choice to be Homosexual.
I can't tell if you are being tongue in cheek or not...

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

You have entire mountains of scientific study to climb to make your above statement (B.S. IMNSHO) stick.

I mean how do you have an honest and open debate with someone that simply has a baseless opinion about a particular subject?

How about testimony of people that say they always new they were homosexual? I take it their own innate knowledge of themselves doesn't count.

Look, I provided a handful of links. Either get educated or stay ignorant. At least the ignorant ones can be marginalized to having null effect in the long run.

Thats your opinion and i respect that, but you cant prove your point either. And dont go trying to explain it away with science either. If that was the case. All Homosexuals will die out because of the evolution factor you so strongly promote. "Only the fittest survive" does that sound right? If that were so then Homosexuals would be a dieing breed.

If there are any Homosexuals reading this thread. please dont be offended by my posts. Im not a person who bashes Homosexuals. I dont agree with it, but i will defend your right to make woopi with who you like behind closed doors. I just dont think it should be taught to my kid in school or made out to be the norm, when it is obviously not.

If you read some of the links posted you would realize that it may not be genetic.

There may be a hormonal reason for this during pregnancy. I'm not the one here spouting baseless opinion. You are.

The difference between us is that I am willing to entertain the devils advocate position on this and willing to have my perception changed if the facts and research are supporting it.

So what do you have other than a few thousand year old text to support your view? If you are unwilling to do any questioning about this then simply say so. Say that your opinion is your opinion with nothing to base it on. That it is simply something you want to think. Like the world is flat or our sun is purple. You're welcome to it.

I find it most fascinating that African-Americans, by and large, voted for Prop 8.

Hahahaha. Oh I can't stop laughing. I just may have to add this particular gem to my signature.

Laughing almost hard enough that it is bringing tears. What an ignorant statement. God forbid anything gets explained with science:eek::eek:

Our Pledge of Allegiance says we our one nation under god.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this as I have arrived late to this thread and don't have the time or patience to read every reply but...

The phrase "under god" was not in the original Pledge of Allegiance. It was added during the McCarthy era to help root out communist children?

I guess they thought there was no way possible a communist could ever believe in God, totally ignoring all the churches in Russia.

This was of course swiftly approved in by Congress, because if you voted against it you were obvously a Godless Communist.

Im not spouting anything, you can play what ever side you want. I cant be swayed into believing that all or any homosaexuals are born that way. You can call it my opinion or anything else. Im opposed to that belief. The events and poeple depicted by the Bible are being proven to be true little by little. I can provide a link to National Geographic video of th discovery of Jesus' tomb if you like. So call the Bible what you want. I believe it! Thats all you need to know. You dont, thats all i need to know.

So why is it that when things get to hard to explain, we must bring in God....

God has never done anything good for me, so why should I believe in him at all........

Tommy,

I totally believe that Jesus Christ walked the earth. I also believe was a visionary man that seriously pissed off the powers that be. I actually spoke to that in an earlier post. There is a grain of truth to a lot of the events in the bible.

I don't believe that an entire cities population was turned to salt

I don't believe Moses had coffee chat with flaming shrubbery

I don't believe that Moses smacked a stone with piece of wood and water came forth

I don't believe that the entire earth was covered in water and our entire current ecology is where its at, genetic variety and all, due to only two of everything surviving.

I don't believe Jesus turned water into wine (well not instantly, he may have had a vineyard that he watered occasionally) nor took a loaf of bread and a fish and fed a multitude of people with it.

I don't believe that Jesus could actually walk on water.

See, I can pick and choose what I want to debunk from the bible as well as you can pick and choose what you think will support your opinion.

None of what I have pointed out is provable.

You are absolutely right, none of it can be proven or disputed.....Christianity is a faith based religion

How can we trust what's written in the new testament, isn't most of that stuff written like a few hundred years after these things happened.... I'm not an expert in things, but.....

Most stories get quite distorted in a few hundred years

Uh actually some of it has been. The flood for instance. Dis-proven. Sorry to wreck your faith based, no facts, just opinion because it is oh so convenient, how dare science, logic, and reasoning be brought into it, altered reality.

Seriously homosexuality is most likely, given the science, not a choice someone makes. Again I put the links out there. You have chosen head + sand = ignorant bliss.

God's no homosexual behavior law is in the old testament where God hands down the sexual laws to Moses, just in case anyone wants to look it up. It is what it is, no rationalization required.

Just for the record,

I am not attacking religion. I am attacking blind faith that ultimately culminates in mal/misinformed opinions that are patently obviously wrong to the prudent person. Opinions that won't be changed no matter the magnitude of light that gets shown into the dark recess of that opinion.

Some shells you just can't pierce with sound logic and science.
