You down with the Starbucks? Einsteins? Local gas station? McDonalds? BK? Local coffeeshop? Are you one of those "I don't drink coffee its bad for you/I don't like it" types? Homemade? More into the Red Bull?

What's your morning zap? How much you drink?

(Another attempt to get away from political threads)

I usually drink a big glass of Diet Cherry Pepsi on the way to work. I find when i drink Coffee it makes me have to hit the bathroom running  in about an hours time. If i ever get bound up i can always rely on coffee as a laxative :D .

Peace,
Tommy

I forgot to answer my own question...

I get Einsteins vanilla hazelnut a lot. Sometimes I'll get starbucks, but the people in line piss me off so much I avoid it at peak hours. There is also a cuban coffee place I like to get coffee from. So I kinda switch it up. When I'm someplace cold I like Starbucks peppermint mochas, mmmm...

Werd. Try a Starbucks mocha latte if you are ever blocked up. :D

I used to be a soda man, but I drink coffee these days. I started about four years ago when work started having free coffee in the break rooms. It's the normal bulk coffee swill, but it does the job.

At home, I have a Kuerig coffee maker. I've tried a number of different brands and brews, but my current favorite is Gloria Jeans Black Gold Extra Bold. Mmmm. I always put in Coffee-Mate Fat Free French Vanilla, though.

BTW, Sensi - kudos on the thread. You have a knack for starting good ones.

EDIT: Blocked up? All-Bran, baby. The commercials had me curious, so I thought, "what the heck, I'll see what happens." No dire need for the stuff, except for my own curiousity. I bought the BranBuds variety about four days ago. One third of a cup has 51% of the recommended daily amount of fiber. Who only eats a third of a cup of cereal, though? :) It's what I had for dinner, so I ended up eating about two cups or more of it. Hoowah. I think they call it the 10-day challenge to keep people from killing themselves by eating over 300% of their daily fiber intake in about twenty minutes.

Starbucks = Bose of the coffee world

I usually drink Earl Grey tea in the mornings. I sometimes drink Italian espresso on the weekends or in the evening while out at a nice restaurant.

Not much of a coffee drinker myself. But I live in the heart of Kona Coffee country, We've got a few hundred trees ourselves. We didnt plant them to harvest and make coffee, but they were free and whoever buys the place can have their own little farm

You need to watch "The Bucket List"... Joe B.
There ain't no way I'll ever try Kopi Luwak. Even if it's the absolute nectar of the gods, I couldn't afford it.

And you're right. The image of the "raw beans" isn't the most appealing either.

The majority of what I drink is coffee or tea. For tea I like any type of orange pekoe (British???) tea served really strong with milk. My favorite coffee is the robust, bold, dark Columbian blends. I like my coffee served just with half & half cream.

I'm guessing that there is a LOT of stuff that we wouldn't want to consume if we saw the whole process. ;)

Sit back, sip, and enjoy!

For those of you who live by a Barnes & Noble, you can get a free drink (coffee or tea) using this coupon. It's good through Halloween.

It's a shame the one a mile from my house isn't finished yet!

Currently slamming down 1/2 to 3/4 carafe of Kirkland Signature (Costco) Organic Ethiopian Whole Bean.

Not bad...not bad...

Great cold brew system

My parents use this system at their house. It takes time and you need to brew it earlier than you want it. But, the coffee comes out fantastically!

Toddy Cafe

You could probably create your own version of this with supplies from Home Depot or Lowes.

See how this works? A ~reasonably~ smart guy with tools at his disposal but still missing the obvious.

Tommy,

Make the coffee work for you. With coffee you can master the poop cycle. Wake up a little early.
Have a coffee. Take a dump. Wash your @$$. Go to work.

You won't have to use strange toilets ever. You won't be the guy who smells like he just took a dump.
You'll be more productive at work. The economy will improve and we'll be able to afford to:

(To the Beach Boys tune of Barbra-Anne)
Bomb, bomb, bomb ... Bomb Ira-a-an! :D

... I just couldn't help it! ...

Might backfire... (get it.. :D:rolleyes:) and you'll end up being that guy with the bumper sticker that says " I'm only speeding because I really have to poop"
