I understand DD+ and HR are better, but that's about as good as it gets on my collection. Even my "blockbuster" movies: Bourne trilogy, Batman Begins, T3, Transformers all have DD+ as its best, AFAIK. If those don't have it, I'm pretty sure most of collection doesn't.
I got the A35 for the reasons outlined, and from there I chose movies by content and PQ. Out of my collection, I cannot remember a single title with lossless, although I must have one or two. Out of my Bluray collection, I cannot remember a single title without lossless, although I must have one or two.
oh
ok
Don't care.
Bit of a shame, if not a deal breaker. Is DD ... ok, nm googled for myself. 504 kbs capable on HD as opposed to 640 on BD. Even DTS on DVD is significantly better. Oh well.
This is what is most disappointing to me.
Thanks allargon, the price still makes it something to ponder. But, that might still be too many compromises for me, particularly the last.
