I just have to say, the DTS Master track of Flight of the Phoenix (Crash scene) on Blu-ray =

I will be demoing a ton of stuff all weekend.

PS: I want to try 16hz, how do you take out the top lid? I don't want to damage anything or scratch it up. My room is small so I don't think I'll be losing much in terms of DBL.

I was wondering what those were!
What can I say, I live in Toronto, where people have 2 religions:

1. "Name of Religion"
2. Toronto Maple Leafs (yes, I know they suck)

congrats!

the grill on my 25-31 PCi is just pushed in, the outer ring is just tightly pushed in ... like some baby milk cans with plastic covers.

Yep, the top grill is a press fit. There's a metal ring that has a smaller diameter underneath the top ring. So, you just pull the top lid off. I kinda pry one side up a little bit and then work it off.

Guess you can gauge the movie to how many trophys you can vibrate over. Perhaps you can make it a wagering game, not that I am encouraging gambling. :)

So, Blue, what do you think so far? Also, were you able to get the grill off to plug the port(s)?

Thanks.

Tried it but didn't seem to budge. I'll leave it as is, but I wish I could hear it in 16hz. Don't want to be bending that grill. I have a mania - all my equipment MUST be mint. It's a great sub. What I like about it over my last one is the varying levels of bass that you can hear and feel.

I completely understand. I was hesitant to take mine off at first, too. There's definitely some resistance at first, then it will start to come off. If you have reservations about it, I'd suggest e-mailing SVS. I would get responses on weekends all the time when I was asking them questions.

BTW, the port plugs (if they're like mine) take some force to get into (and out of) the ports. The ports are robust, though.
