There's two that stand out in my mind in particular. In Rocky III when Mick died, that got me pretty good. Granted I don't think I was even a teenager yet, but one of my friends still gives me sh!t about it.
The other was a made for TV movie "Something For Joey", a story about John Cappelletti, a running back for Penn State ( who was also a Heisman winner) and the L.A. Rams in the NFL. His brother Joey was diagnosed with leukemia, which was the focal point of the movie, being in sharp contrast to the success on the football field John achieved. While it wasn't an Oscar award winner, it was a bawler. Granted I was really young for that one too, but anyone w/a heart bigger than Mr. Burns would've felt at least a good lump in their throat, if not some water works... -TD
