Crying, bawling during movies

I didn't come anywhere near to crying during that scene in Spiderman, but that was one of the aspects that made the second one the best of the three IMO - more personal.

This is actually almost embarrassing, but the first movie I remember having an emotional breakdown occur (outside of Old Yeller, of course) was in Silent Running when the one robot was sacrificed (I forget the reason). In retrospect I was a bit ill at the time, they diagnosed me a few days later with gastroenteritis, and IIRC walking pneumonia. It was a sad few days for me (oh, and I was like maybe 10 or 12).

Yeah, I remember Old Yeller. It is a classic for sure. Speaking of being a kid, I also remember crying when Bambi's mother got killed during that movie. Am sure there are other movies from my childhood era that made me cry but these two kinda stand out.

I cried during the movie Barb Wire, when Pam Anderson's top didn't fall off.

The Fox and the Hound. That one did it for me. Leave it to Disney eh?

I can't pin point which part it was, but basically when the 2 were no longer friends, from then on.

Also, there is a clip from scrubs that hits pretty hard.

Basically, Brendan Fraser's character is a good friend of Dr. Cox. He has Leukemia, and doesn't really take it seriously. Earlier on JD tells Dr. Cox he couldn't save him, but you lead to believe it was a different patient (and blames JD for it). Through the episode he is talking to Ben (Brendan) about going easy on JD saying it isn't his fault. At the end, Dr. Cox thinks he's going to his sons birthday part, but it turns out to be Ben's Funeral.

Crying to pick up chicks. I thought that plan was phased out! haha
Hey when it comes to picking up women, nothing is phased out. Have to have every tool in the arsenal ready to go at all times :D

I agree, for the most part. The second was the best in the series, but the first was excellent and I left the theatre with that sense of WOW!, however I think some of that was due to the fact that it was the first one and Spiderman was now "real".

I do hope that the third was not the end of the series, but if they are going to make more that things are re-thought quite a bit. The third was good in essence, but it was far too long and they did not play up on the "dark side" of Spiderman when he was inhabited by Venom enough. Too many soap opera-esque scenes as well.

We need Carnage!

When I first saw Shindlers List in theaters, my self and both my room mates were crying like 4 year old girls in the middle of the movie.
Schindler's List did it to me. Life is Beautiful with Roberto Benigni caught me as well.

Air Force One:

At then end when the C-130 becomes Air Force One. I used to work on C-130's so that hits home with me. :)

Benigni bugs me for some reason and as such, I didn't find that movie moving as most seemed to.
As I speak Italian, I found the English version a bit dry. I actually like his earlier movies like Johnny Stecchino and Il Mostro. They're both quite comical. It isn't for everyone though.

I don't think your disclaimer will help. You'd better just change your name and deny all knowledge of Audioholics if you meet a woman who frequents this site. ;)

Yeah, your probably right.

Beyond changing my name and devowing any knowledge of the site, I will replace my HT setup with a sweet Bose system. That way, there is no way she, any girl I might meet who frequents this site, would ever think it was me :D

Cheers

The last movie I remember that made me cry was Antwone Fisher, at the end. Really powerful.
