HH, you're going to have to clue me in on that one! I've got no idea what it means. But you know, I'm a caveman.:D
Baby Mama Drama is when a guys ex,who just happens to be the mother of his child (my baby's mama) starts a bunch of crap(drama),either with the new girlfriend or the father.

Baby Mama Drama = Jerry Springer type sideshow from the baby's mother.

Ouch my Balls!

I loved the movie - great commentary on the state of the world as I see it being in college myself.

"Water, like from the toilet?" :D

I'm normally a calm person, but this was one of the only movies where I was nearly unconscious trying to breathe during it. Still a total favorite.
Same here, all i have to do is think about Doctor Lexus telling Not Sure what's wrong with him,all the while smoking a huge blunt, right in the hospital.

Or.................Go away baitin!!!

So is this Ebonics or just ghetto talk?
Its actually how the whole world speaks in this movie. Everyone has become so dumbed down that the use of actual speech as we know it is considered "faggy." If you haven't seen the movie I think you should watch it - without the kids. Parts are pretty stupid but the social commentary has a solid point IMO.

Dear lord:rolleyes:,did you even watch the movie?

Its a direct quote from the movie explaining what the whole fag deal is about, not a slam on anybody or meant to be offensive, anybody who saw the scene in the movie woulda automatically known its not offensive.

The speel of crap i laid out was a doctors diagnosis of what was wrong with Joe in the movie, not a personal attack.

Thanks for clearing things up , I thought everyone knew what I was talking about :p

Really isn't the first time something like this has come up before. The book A Clockwork Orange was written entirely in NADSAT, which after the first chapter you really understood the whole concept of it being a teenage slang.

I believe we all suffer from mob-mentality at times, and its those times where we have a chance for personal reflection that save us from the continued stupifying effects of it. The reason for it being so pervasive in this day in age is a direct result of the implementation of technology and the ruthless obsession for monetary gain. Constantly we are battered with media in many forms, and advertisements. Magazines, TV programs, pop-music, youtube, facebook, billboards, movies, etc are all forms of media that can contribute meaningful content, and yet the majority of it is used as a way to mislead, or garner interest for things of no value. Cell phones, and ipods are also great in moderation, yet can be devastatingly stupifying when used to much. It really doesn't take that much more to go too far either.

That said, humans as a species are not doomed at all. There are plenty of intelligent people banking on this sort of thing so they can further their own agendas and lifestyle at the expense of the stupid and ignorant. Darwinism isn't at all being subverted by this, only proliferating by it.

There has been a certain anti-intellectualism that has been floating around this country since the 80's. It is a cultural thing though as opposed to genetic.

I remember reading "A Clockwork Orange" some years ago. But for the grace of god and a helpful reference in the back of the book that explained much of the slang terminology, I never would have made it though the text without being completely lost. :D

The difference being is that the book represented a gang of youth, whereas the movie indicated the entire human race had succumbed to the "dumbing down" effects of pop culture and "anti-intellectualism". Yes, there are intelligent people benefiting from the phenomenon, but it's created a polarizing environment, rather than a unifying one, and those who care to further themselves are being ever-so outnumbered at an alarming rate by those who don't.

Anyone who has done any trend-analysis in their time can clearly see that the movie may not be as far-fetched as one initially thinks. Is it only a matter of time? ;)

As it's not a proper word, I see furrycute's attempt as noble.

And I, for one, see nothing wrong with English as a second language Alex, as long as the second learners aren't adverse to proper English lessons. :)

Me? Bait? C'mon.

Well, maybe a little bit. But it's not a word, so who is to accurately spell it? But it sounds like you've already thought of that, haven't you? :p Just having some fun before the game Alex.

My favorite part was the Starbucks (STAR8UCKS).

Gentleman's Latte's, I'll have mine extra whipped;)

I have coworkers that still think Starbucks is the best coffee ever. Whenever they invited me I would say something like "Sure I would love a handjob, but really can't we just go out for coffee?"

I don't think they ever saw the movie, because they quit inviting me after a while...
