I am looking to setup a 5.1 HT system for 70% movies and 30% music - any recommendations as I want to avail your offer.

Also I live in Canada just outside of Toronto. Hope this is not an issue.

My budget is around 1500 and I prefer bookshelves over towers.

Dave, I am also new to this forum....I live here in Kansas City, Mo.

I had my first taste of Def Tech from Best Buy...I bought the $800 HT package...Two things happened one the Sub was DOA...and the center channel lug came loose from the speaker housing..I was able to hear everything except the sub...which made the rest very bright >So they went back...I guess they had the small speaker sound to them if they weren't turn you high...I am in the process of tring out Two lines from BIC America , the Venturi line which is the fronts DV-64, center DV-62clr, surround DV-62si and a V 1520 sub... as well as the Acoustech surround HT-63, center HT-65, front HT-75..But I am willing to give Def Tech another try...So I could us a little help from you or others on some advice on Def Tech stuff...along with pricing/shipping to KCMO..

I said I would buy a CLR 2300, but I ended up getting a pair of 7006's and a procenter 2000 off eBay for $700. So I won't be getting a CLR 2300. All I can say is the def techs are awesome!!!!
