I started putting on my lawn mowing shoes when they held the Packers to nothing after 1st and ten at the 1 foot mark in the fourth quarter.
You do know what we do with fair-weather fans here in Packerland...don't you Nomo? ;)

Well I didn't actually put the shoes on.;)
But I did have a bad feeling about things considering the way SD had been moving the ball.
And I did mow with a bit of a smile after the game.

I hope not. I would like to see Favre light them up for 4 TD's and the defense play solid holding them to under 20.

Hey, I can dream can't I. :D

Well...Favre got 3 td's to tie Marino...one more and he's the alltime leader. And the D, whist not keeping them to under 20 pts., kept them to 24.

I only care that the Pack wins, and plays a good game. After all, you only need to win by one.

BTW, I don't see anyone clammering for Favre's record(s) on the field...they're playing the game. That was a good game yesterday. Have you awoken yet Annunaki? ;)

GO PACK!

Great win yesterday. Eventually we'll have to put together some illusion of a running game though...but in the meantime, I'll just be ecstatic over a 3-0 start to the 2007 season.

Go Pack!!

Well the game was good. They did come close to losing it all though. I was so disappointed when they could not put it in the end zone with 4 plays within 6 yards of the goal line. They are lucky that they got the turnover on Defense as well.

I am quite happy that they are 3-0. I am remaining a bit sceptical at this point though as they have not shown me they are dominant yet. The running game needs to improve. Favre can't do it all ALL season. He played like he was back in '96-'97. If the running game comes into it's own, Favre keeps up his play, and the defense keeps it up, I will feel much safer about their situation.

All in all a very good game though. I hope it continues!!

One more TD and no more record hype. Then the concentration on winning can be put sqaurely in focus. :)

I want to see the Saints do to the Titans what the Eagles did to the Lions yesterday.

If they don't, it's time to call the season.

Yes.

That's debatable (even though it's been decided). It looks like it was punched through at least once down there.

I Favre can't do it all ALL season. He played like he was back in '96-'97.
Why not? He's healthy, and making it work with the tools he's got. He is playing like he was ten years ago. The line just has to keep protecting him...he'll stay healthy then.

All in all a very good game though. I hope it continues!!
Yes. Most doubters have been silented.

One more TD and no more record hype. Then the concentration on winning can be put sqaurely in focus.
You keep writing that. All the hubbub about his records is off the field...I see no distraction on the field.

GO PACK!

I forgot about that. Good point.

I am not so sure Favre is worring about records and such, but it seems his teamates on the offense might be.

Go Pack!

I thought the Pack looked like the real deal today.
It's hard, this time anyway, to chalk it up to a poor opponent. The Chargers played a good game.
I started putting on my lawn mowing shoes when they held the Packers to nothing after 1st and ten at the 1 foot mark in the fourth quarter.
I can't believe my boys found a way to lose another one. When they were up 24-21, if Weddle hadn't tripped and gotten that sure interception, the game would have been over. Oh well. Bottom line is the great teams find a way to win and we didn't. But now I'm leaning more towards blaming Ted Cotrell and not Norv Turner. There's just NO way we should have given up almost 400 yards!!!! How old is Favre now, 50?!?!?

Whatever. We lost. I'll find a way to get over it.

The real test is the gonna be the Packers going to the Rollerdome this coming Sunday.
Not that that alone will define the season, but I don't think their previous opponents really saw them coming. The Vikings, and God in hurts me to say this, won't be that stupid.

Old enough to know the difference, and beat your best! ;)

Not really, considering Jamal Williams didn't play. That's HUGE loss to our defense! Matt Wilhelm, our starting middle linebacker was also out. But I'm not gonna make excuses. A loss is a loss. But our next 3 games are all divisional opponents, 2 at home, so I fully expect us to be 4-2 going into our bye, firmly atop the AFC West.

I have to say I fully agree with you here.

Lots of great upsets in college this week.

Five teams inside the top10 lost!!

Thanks to that, my Bucks should jump from 8th to possibly 4th in the rankings:)

0-4 UNBELIEVABLE!

Culpepper rubbed it on the Fish's nose, defense wasn't anywhere to be found, in fact the word wasn't in the playbook today, lovely season. First time since 1966 that a new coach has started the season with 0-4.

The Pack beats the Vikings, and go 4-0. Yay!!!

Childress threw the red flag how many times?
And Holcomb, what a baby. He reminds me of that other Viking that wore diapers, Chris Carter. :p
And Fox sports sucks the wad...at least in this game. They failed to show the time (or had the wrong time) and down on several occasions, couldn't see the yellow line half the time, and some key replays were entirely omitted.

But life is good.

Favre is now the alltime td pass leader.
Favre is now the alltime pass attempts leader.

GO PACK!
