Well, at least it is my apartment bliss!

Of course I troll the forums for information and opinions, and have for a while. Unfortunately I don't post much, but maybe I'll get better at it. ;)

Anyway, here is my slice of Audio heaven, just follow the link to see the pics.

Click me to see the HT!

The equipment is listed in my sig.

Comments/recommendations are always welcome!

Oh, and I do plan to MAYBE someday get a better TV set! HA!

Thanks for the read and look!

Nice Athena setup you got there. The P400 is a great subwoofer for the money. I own it's predecessor and I feel it's 10 times better. Probably the best they've made.

Any shots of your rears? I think it's about time for a new TV

Congratulations!!! Great upgrade to the Denon. One of my favorites. The Athena's look great and should sound just as good. Great sound for the money!!!

Looks like you are heading in the right direction. Great job!

I agree, more pictures. We will be more than happy to suggest seating distances and speaker placement. The center channel is well placed too!

Thanks!

Thanks for the comments! I really love the setup.

I'll have some pictures of the backs up a little later this week (house sitting at my parents place for a couple days.) The backs unfortunately don't have as sweet as placement. My Rear Back (AS-R1.2) is literally inches from my head. But I'll post some pics soon.

I tell ya, I really do love the Athena's, sub and all. Sheep, you have one of the SCT series subs? I have really wondered what the SCT series as a whole sounded like. I love the concept, and from everything I have read they are fantastic speakers for the price.

Thanks again for the comments, and I'll through up some pics of the backs soon.

I have the P4000. My P400 was fried in a power surge that took out many home in my area (car crash). It's in a secondary system next to my main system. My current sub is a Velodyne, with a DIY on the way.

Ahh.

Is the DIY the one in your pics that looks like it has seen a few better days (no insult meant by that, it makes sense now that you say you are doing a DIY).

I really love my P400, it works just beautifully for me. I got a killer deal on it too, $150 brand new in a box! Last one in a warehouse 6 months after they were clearanced by the store.

That is the old sub I took my amp from. I needed the dowels for the feet for the new sub, and I couldn't get them out because a piece of wood was glued over the Allen key hole. So I destroyed the box with a sledgehammer.
