I thought Cavemen used spears? And where did you get an electric real? There isn't any power!

SheepStar
Only when I "spear" fish, (ha ha), I get electricity by having small rodents run in round cage wrapped in copper, well you know the rest.

Chris, I love real Mexican food, the only thing I tolerate from the Bell is their bean burrito(which I haven't had in about 18 months), which I "customize" when I get home with Habanero sauce, it gets rid of the bland "gringo-ized" taste.
Hey strat, ever try the tabasco brand green pepper sauce,YUM, all jalapeno flavor with very little heat,i dont like hot pepper sauce but i love mexican food drenched in the stuff,i will use a whole bottle in chili or tacos.

I got dosed twice, from Arbys. The first time, I bought 5 roast beef sand, brought them home and ate two of them, and gave my dogs one each, and put the last one in the freezer for lunch or something later. They tasted ok to me. About a half hour later, both my dogs coughed them up, and I thought to myself, "Uh oh, you're gonna get hit!", and tried to get them up, without success by drinking salt water, and using my finger to make me gag. About an hour after that, the pain began, and the squirts, and the puking. About 12 miserable hours later, it was over with. I was wiped out. The dogs never got sick at all.

I avoided Arby's for a while, but one day, I went ahead and got the same deal, bought 5, ate two, one each for the dogs, and one in the freezer. They were outside when they brought them back up, so I didn't see anything, and I felt ok, so I went to bed. A couple of hours later, the pain began, worse than the first time. It was unbelievable! I sat on the pot, with a bucket, and spent nearly 18 hours in there. It felt like I was sh*****g glass. A few times I started to go to the hospital, but another wave of pain would come and off I would go again. Just as I thought I was going to call 911 and have them come, it stopped. Just like the first time. The dogs never had a problem, I guess the toilet drinking had them immune. I didn't go to Arby's for years afterwards. Why I didn't sue, I don't know. When I eat any sort of burgers or Arby's now, I won't touch it if it's pink at all, I recently got a burger at Wendy's for dinner, and ended up taking it into a 711 to nuke it. I don't like meat less than well done anyway, and haven't gotten sick in a long time, so I guess I'm doing something right.

The local White Castle passes their inspections here with either none or like one minor violation every time, unlike almost every other chain. Sliders have never made me sick in any way. Last time I had them, a friend and I between us killed an entire 30 burger crave case over a morning while working on my bathroom. Other than "Onion Gas", I felt great!

Hey John,

I did look something up in a TIME ALMANAC 2000 that uses Richard Grand, M.D., Tufts University Medical School as a source. Some interesting facts mentioned are that:

1. The majority of non-white Americans are lactose intolerant.
2. All children are born with the enzyme lactase which allows them to digest milk.
3. By the age of 10 many children of non-European descent no longer produce the enzyme.

I remember eating some funky tasting chicken when I was 8 years old. Didn't phase me in the slightest. It was however definitely not what you would call finger lickin' good.:)
Again a generalized statement from an ill informed researcher, let me put this in context, majority of Indians, at least 74% of the 1 billion are vegetarians, that means, dairy is their prime source of proteins among other non meat based sources, from childhood to adulthood, specially in the north, milk is it, also in the east, more than 350 desserts are made daily from milk, people in villages of Punjab in north India drink it daily by gallons, now if all these were lactose intolerant beings, it would be quite an explosive situation, pun intended.:D

Generalized? Yes. Ill informed? eh,,ahhh.. They did say "many" in point #3. The write up was really about how the majority on non-white Americans are lactose intolerant. You have me to blame for not copying the whole thing out. India wasn't covered here. Indiana on the other hand.....:D

It doesn't say anything about people who continue to drink milk - those people will continue to produce the enzymes to digest it properly. What it is referring to are those like me who slowly drink less milk and become less tolerant. Being lactose intolerant doesn't mean you can't eat dariy at all, it just means you have a harder time digesting it. I can eat cheese, ice cream, drink milkshakes, etc... without bursting into flames.

I bet a nice glass of whole milk would have you shooting flames out of something.

Bear in mind, milk is considered slow poison along with refined flour, salt, sugar and polished rice in the ancient system of Ayurvedic medicine, yogurt on the other hand gets a clean chit, its easier to digest and replenishes the flora and fauna in our digestive system.

I actually find the green tabasco a little more salty. I my friend am a HOT HEAD, can get enough of the heat, when I cook up chili, I always do two batches, one for the women folk and children the other for the fellow cavemen, down that with Guinness and corn bread. Heaven.

My wife can attest to that, she cant drink milk without getting sick, she used to drink milk 25 years ago when we were kids but since milk is fattening & she likes to stay at 120 lbs she gave up drinking it,now if she even drinks a cup its all over.

On the other hand i can drink gallons of the stuff as long as its ice cold,i drink a massive glass with every supper with not so much as a popcorn fart.

Unless you buy your hotsauces from Blair's, Dave's or Mad Dog it ain't hot.

Here's a good assortment for the curious:
http://www.sweatnspice.com/295-18.htm

The Magma sauce in that assortment is DEADLY but the limited edition Blair's Collectors stuff is liquid nuclear waste.

(Call me when you make it to this level of heat ;) )

EDIT: here's the list of sauces based on Scoville heat index:

Thanks Major, will give it a try. I use to make my own Habanero sauce when I could find some decent pods, but I haven't since after the hurricanes.
