I got dosed twice, from Arbys. The first time, I bought 5 roast beef sand, brought them home and ate two of them, and gave my dogs one each, and put the last one in the freezer for lunch or something later. They tasted ok to me. About a half hour later, both my dogs coughed them up, and I thought to myself, "Uh oh, you're gonna get hit!", and tried to get them up, without success by drinking salt water, and using my finger to make me gag. About an hour after that, the pain began, and the squirts, and the puking. About 12 miserable hours later, it was over with. I was wiped out. The dogs never got sick at all.
I avoided Arby's for a while, but one day, I went ahead and got the same deal, bought 5, ate two, one each for the dogs, and one in the freezer. They were outside when they brought them back up, so I didn't see anything, and I felt ok, so I went to bed. A couple of hours later, the pain began, worse than the first time. It was unbelievable! I sat on the pot, with a bucket, and spent nearly 18 hours in there. It felt like I was sh*****g glass. A few times I started to go to the hospital, but another wave of pain would come and off I would go again. Just as I thought I was going to call 911 and have them come, it stopped. Just like the first time. The dogs never had a problem, I guess the toilet drinking had them immune. I didn't go to Arby's for years afterwards. Why I didn't sue, I don't know. When I eat any sort of burgers or Arby's now, I won't touch it if it's pink at all, I recently got a burger at Wendy's for dinner, and ended up taking it into a 711 to nuke it. I don't like meat less than well done anyway, and haven't gotten sick in a long time, so I guess I'm doing something right.
The local White Castle passes their inspections here with either none or like one minor violation every time, unlike almost every other chain. Sliders have never made me sick in any way. Last time I had them, a friend and I between us killed an entire 30 burger crave case over a morning while working on my bathroom. Other than "Onion Gas", I felt great!
