>>>He said of the singer’s engagement: “This is something that I hope will make Taylor Swift more conservative.” He added that marrying Travis Kelce could “de-radicalize” her and could make her “go from a cat lady to a JD Vance supporter.”

There has been speculation that the NFL star may have Republic leanings after he said it would be an “honor” to have Donald Trump attend the Super Bowl earlier this year.

Kirk also stated that Taylor should “have more children than she has houses.” He told the singer to “Engage in reality more … Reject feminism. Submit to your husband, Taylor. You’re not in charge.”<<<

Doesn't sound too good. No don't let her decide. Honestly, I think most women do want the man to lead, but she's not cattle either LOL.

On a somewhat related note.

Both parties need better candidates.
LOL, have for some time now .............
But, who chooses the candidates? The entire American electorate (registered party voters) chooses. So, the question is, why don't Americans choose better candidates? You have a direct say in the matter.

Up here, actual party members nominate, then choose, their preferred candidates. The process can vary a bit, from party to party, but that's it in a nut shell.

Federal party members make up 2-3% of the population, or about 4% of eligible voters.

Seriously, I have no life.
From one to five is what I have been reading. I guess when so much hate is directed towards them, one bound to snap.
My Q is how many mass shooters are not trans?

The parties choose the candidates, most voters are too freaking lazy and uninterested to dig into them. The parties tell the public who will be climbing out of the clown cars, we don't make suggestions as to who would be the best candidates. In theory, we should have direct input, but we don't. We have 'representatives', but the last times I sent a message to Ron Johnson (R), it took months to receive a response and 3/4 of the letter was 'Thank you for your excellent question', followed by more bullcrap about what they see as their role in US government. Another problem is: no term limits. They stay until they die or do something so stupid that nobody in the party will let them stay. It happens on both sides- look at how long the Democrats claimed that Biden was mentally competent and now that he's out of office, many in the party are saying that the realty was hidden. Also, they're saying that the pardons and auto-pen weren't really him in control.

No elections are like the BS we have. Campaigns take forever and if you want to see stupidity, look how much is spent- they all talk about feeding and housing people, but when one candidate for POTUS sends more than $1 Billion and the other isn't far behind, it can boggle a mind.

As a kid and teen, I used to think my dad was just being negative when he would ask "This is the best we have?" during elections.

The problem with our elections and shortening them is that so many candidates have well-hidden dirt that they fight to conceal and their teams of lawyers are good at their jobs.

The republicans need it far more at this point, tho.
Step back and look again. You can't bring yourself to see that the Democrats need to clean their own house, as well. I'm not posting this as a way to poke the Democrats, I do it because the country needs to fix a helluva lot of problems.
