Trying to do a rear brake job on a 2014 Corolla S.

I'm not a mechanic.

What could go wrong?

Forgot to torque the lug nuts ... stud beta then :D

I mean they were a little tight. Tight enough for the test drive.

Gotta get that before flying off to be less than awesome for money.

I watched enough of YT car mechanics to know that the correct torque for most nuts and bolts is exactly three ugga-duggas. Alternatively, you could tighten it "just enough" and say "Click" at the end, in case you're missing an impact wrench.

Funny enough I replaced my lug nuts today. The old ones (a year old and never saw winter conditions) were way too rusty for my liking.

The rear rotors could be seized on and you lock up your back after spending 5 hours using every trick in the book to get them off including a 6lb sledge hammer.

I'm sure it will go smoothly....

The age thing is teaching me how hard it really is to do work that I thought nothing of a mere 30 years ago.
Yeah, I got the rears done and then paid a shop to do the fronts while I recovered.

2014 midwest truck with very crusty factory installed brakes.
