As for Scotch whisky, I too love the peat and your 12 year Tomatin is a good every day sipping whiskey. I toured the distillery while I was in Scotland in '17. It also matches the blue lights on the Rotel equipment. Got it on eBay. They have a lot of other manufacturers signs and you can even have one custom made. Pretty cool. I‘ve wanted a Mc with the blue meters since I was a kid and I’m not getting any younger. My wife is supportive as always of my hobby/obsession which is one of the reasons I married her. I'm happy for you if you like those giant blue meters with the backlit green logos. Myself, just not my cuppa tea. At all. Perhaps if they were also outstanding performers I could overlook it, but know there's a few members of my Luxman Lovers group who moved from McIntosh to Luxman for the purer sound.
