How is Tesla fit and finish these days compared to other similar EVs? About 4 years ago a local body shop told me that they had to undo and redo all the interior panels and few doors in the three factory new Teslas they owned in their family.

GM is having their best year ever for EVs with the Lyric and the Equinox and the Blazer. The Silverado is too new and too expensive. They are FAR from selling the numbers of Tesla though. When the refresh model Y comes out, Tesla will sell a lot more too.
I think I read somewhere Honda and Acura are using the Lyric platform for their Prologue and ZDX models respectively.

That is correct. I originally thought it was reported that it was the Bolt platform. Since that car was discontinued, I believe it is the Blazer/Lyriq platform. The smaller Equinox might still use a version of that Bolt platform. Seeing the Prologue and Lyriq on the road here, you can tell, because they are all physically about the same size. I am seeing a lot more Lyriqs around there these days; far more than the Blazer. It looks pretty nice in person.

We had the Emporia level 2 charger installed this past week. We did our first charge to 100% from about 30% in just about 5 hours. Most charging will be done at the EA charging station but the convenience of home charging is very nice.

Polestart also got access, since they use the same systems as Volvo. Hyundai is supposed to get access in Jan.

DON'T get 3rd party adapters. Get one from a reputable company or OEM only. I read a report on Eletrek and it says many of the knock off ones on Amazon are actually dangerous. Lectron was the only one they recommended.
Yesterday, Volvo & Polestar announced they are now fully compatible with the NACS Fast DC chargers (Tesla Superchargers). I found Lectron's adapter was available directly through Lectron's website, at a good price of $200 (20% off the $250 retail price). So, I ordered one.

Amazon presently does not have the Lectron adapter at any price. They did have two other 3rd party knock-offs, for $240, as well as many more for $190.

Don't be surprised if you start relying more & more on that charger at home. It's much more convenient than anything on the road, especially as the weather gets worse.

With trips to the gas station, I always had to remember to combine them with other things I was doing. Sometimes I forgot and had to make a separate trip. With a charger at home, I could forget about needing a recharge and just plug it in after getting home. At home, who cares if the recharge takes several hours? Once charging is done, it shuts itself off. I remove the cable when I go out the next time.

I have my EV programmed to stop charging when the battery is 90%. Does yours allow that?

Yeah, the convenience is very nice. It allows to set charging limits for both AC and DC charging.
