As a long time JBL fan, I am surprised they scored so well here, or that B&W was so close. In spite of the mass production and reach of Harman, I always felt that they were treated as more of a consumer quality brand, or perhaps having been watered down by their budget offerings, or the Harman association.

I took a fair amount of crap over the years for using JBL. Of course, most of those of that opinion have since either washed out of audiophilia and weren't all that experienced in audio to begin with, or tended to recite trendy brand hate rumors about all products that are popular. One guy I know, took potshot comments at my Ray Ban (he was an Oakley fan) sunglasses, just because I claimed I could see much better wearing them when driving in the blinding rain storms we get down here, while most people were having to either pull over, or drive at 20mph. When I informed him that just about all popular brand sunglasses are covered under the same (Luxottica) company, he wanted to hate the messenger instead. I never even claimed that the (pre Luxottica /Bausch & Lomb) sunglasses I own were better. Just that they were good enough because I could stare directly at the sun without squinting or sneezing and the driving thru torrential rain attribute.

I've owned some iconic speakers over the years
Large Advents
Allison 6s
Polk 7Bs
DCM Time Windows
And currently Infinity P363s.
The Time Windows were my favorite, but the Infinity's are fine for my condo.
Was always curious about OHM speakers - anyone have any experience with OHM?

Man, JBL speakers are just the bomb! They've got that perfect combo of awesome sound and durability that I dig. Whether I'm chilling at home or blasting tunes at a beach party, they always deliver. And let's talk about options JBL's got something for everyone, from portable Bluetooth speakers to hardcore studio monitors. Plus, they don't break the bank, which is a big win in my book. Basically, if you want speakers that sound killer and can take a beating

I wish KEF were an option in the poll. The Reference Meta, R Meta, and Blade Meta have all been measured on a Klippel with excellent results. The UniQ provides even off axis response both vertically and horizontally.

If I was in the market for new speakers, it'd be Crites Speakers CS Style B.
Fortunately, my 1975 La Scalas cut the mustard just fine.

Does it matter? what matters is that you found speakers you love, that give you great experiences, that´s what is important  :) ;)

I've learned a lot from AH and elsewhere over the years. There's so much audio nonsense out there that this thread is a nice place to share information to help others.

I agree... but at the end of the day it is the experience, your ears and what you hear that is the most important, IMHO

Agree and for me it also has to look cool. Not to others, just to me.

If the poll were started today, I have no doubt that KEF would be on the poll, instead of Axiom and Aperion.

Plus, I would change “Harman” to just “Revel”.
