Which would you pick regardless of DSP?

Your requirements are not domestic but pro. One of the few advantages of a sealed sub is that it can benefit most from DSP. This can deal with non linearity. The ability to equalize a ported sub is limited, because the driver will decouple from the box. This nullifies the Eq, and invites driver damage. However in a domestic situation a ported sub is a very good option.
