FS: KEF Reference 1 stand mount speakers

Current model Reference 1 stand mount speakers, in Silver Satin Walnut finish, in at least a "9+" condition. Not even 2 years old. Selling only because I'm upgrading to the just-announced Reference Meta version, in a different finish.

They are available for sale to continental US buyers. My price is $5750, plus shipping TWO boxes that weigh 50.16lb each measure 23"x23"x15" each. I ship via UPS (preferred), FedEx Ground, whatever you're willing to pay for.

I'm located in south-central Massachusetts (01562.) Pickup is perfectly OK and saves the shipping costs.

Audition is possible, and encouraged. Bring money through, because once you hear them you won't leave without them. It'll take 30-50 minutes to get them packed back into the original boxes.

Stands are NOT included!! (I need them for the new speakers.)

Officially off the market. Only got a couple of insulting low-ball offers. I'm enjoying these speakers immensely and though I would like to own the new Meta version, I'm not going to take a bath to do so.
