Well I will say this and most people around here know there I stand politically but it's time to let things fly. We really have to put all restrictions behind us now.
Here in NJ we have gone up and down as all over has. Omicron had cases shoot up to 30+ thousand a day but cases fell off like a cliff and are down to almost nothing.
I'm triple vaxxed and I have done everything that was asked of me and I'm done now, I'm just done now.

WI had about 1300 cases yesterday and only a few days ago, it was over 4000 and trending downward from much higher totals. The chart has a sharp spike that peaked near the end of last week, so let's hope this means we're close to the end of this crap and that no new variant will show up.

From where I sit I feel your Governor (Murphy) has been more of a pro-active leader the past 2 years than either Pa or NY.

I agree, as I have said for the last 2 years he has done the best he could with something that none of have been through before. Has he made mistakes, yes of course but I feel he did the best he could with what was given.

That's pretty much what my GP told me months ago. Without the hospitalizations and deaths, he called it the flu.
Is my GP a quack? Don't think so, he has caught quite a few cancers in my relations early.

My doctors, nurse she's a RN said the same thing, said it's no more than the flu. Here's the kicker, her mother runs a CBD business in the same building and she got COVID from her mother.

Yeah right huh, this was way back in 2020 when COVID was kicking really bad. Doctor wouldn't get to the office till after 10am. Most of my appointments where for 10am. So I'd get there 1/2 before, and yep not a one would have a face mask on. As the time got close to Doc getting to his Clinic they'd would all put their mask on. There's a college close by and his Clinic let's the college students do their internship for RN and LPNs at his Clinic.

Yeah exactly, not a quack at all. Cases are meaningless, it's the 2%/3% death rate when there are so many cases.
I have never minimized the pandemic and I have been on the side people need to get vaccinated. I'm a denier of anything but it's now time to completely move on. Stay vigilant yes, keep an eye on what's going on, take precautions when needed or you feel you need to.

We all feel the same way, but Covid doesn't give two sh1ts what I or you feel like. If we had more strict mandates earlier on and people actually vaccinated en-mass and followed the science best practices, we'd probably be much closer to normal vs current "pretend normal"
