Don't know what FOX's Covid record is firsthand. I would have to look at hard transcripts of the segments you are referring to. Hearing others interpretation of it is not enough and I certainly do not respect CNN's views on anything.
You have given a cynical mind (to Media) something to reflect on. Fox being a counter op to kill off Repubs? Why not, Murdoch's sons are certainly more lefty than he is so in the long term it would not be surprising if Fox ultimately ends up in that camp.
Projecting further, if that happens, they will leave a large conservative demographic open to go elsewhere for their news. If the free market still works, it will be interesting to see who fills that gap.

I surmise that at the beginning of the crisis, before we knew what we were dealing with, the most relatable situation to the public that came close to what was unfolding was the 2014 Ebola crisis. I remember some interviews from then(at least the good ones) that asked the question, how will this compare to the Ebola crisis?.

Has she said she's not getting the vax but been vaxed? Have Faux hosts criticized the vax but been vaxed? I'll give the edge to Harris and CNN on this one. Yes, she got vaxed eventually but how much damage did she do to by saying she didn't trust the vaxx in front of a large national television audience at that time?
I gave you evidence that CNN and left did not take it seriously at first and they called early action to protect the country racist. Trust CNN at your own peril.
Again, I restate, I don't watch Fox news nor CNN. Many of my friends are CNN devotees and I have the same conversations with them.
I recently told one, in rather blue terms, that if they want to give tongue baths to CNN hosts fine. Just be careful with Toobin because you might get more than you bargained for. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
