Well, being nice here, there’s a LOT of better options out there today. The biggest question is, how much are you willing to spend? That will dictate the performance you can get. The velo was probably decent in its day, but never great. It’s a small 10” with a high frequency response, and not likely a flat response. Meaning it probably has some frequency ranges that are boosted to make it sound “bassier”. This is not a good attribute, and is something that quality subs of today so not exhibit. Even current budget subs are at least as good.
To answer the question, I would not proceed with a second one. If there is money to spend, I would find a nice, current dual sub combination.
