Hello all! I wanted to give you an update about my decision :)
At last, I took the courage and bought myself the SVS PB-2000 pro! My first day experience was very good! It moves the air quite well (when I manually made some adjustments, see below).
Thank you all for your help, I really appreciate it!

I got a few questions if you could help me with the setup:

So guys,
1) Is it normal for audyssey to set the sub lower and is it correct to raise the sub volume until the spl meter checks 75db? Do you suggest a different approach or a different spl value?
2) Why audyssey measured wrong subwoofer distance? Do I set the correct distance manually or leave it as it is? I think I read somewhere people setting a bigger distance value for the subwoofer (bass distance hacks?). Dunno what to do here :)

Thanks a lot for helping me out!
George
First off, congratulations on a great new sub!
Secondly, your questions above have been covered fairly well, so I’ll only add that using a phone app to measure subwoofers, imo, is not very reliable. Every phones mic has a different roll off profile, and if the developer hasn’t accounted for that, or if the mic just can’t pick it up, results will be questionable at best. Heck, even some actual spl meters can be hit or miss although ime they’re better than a phone.

Thanks for replying! Could a calibrated mic be used for both REW and measuring spl? If yes then maybe I could buy a mic for both. Could you suggest a budget friendly mic for REW (or even spl metering)?
