That is a good price and they only weigh 110 lbs each
I was looking at the cut away view in the third image. TL design, legit full ranger. They look really solidly built. Curious tho... I wonder what they mean by "6/10 due to age, but 7/10 cosmetically"? I'd be really tempted to go check those out.

*PS: Kinda not cool to hint at cosmetics then not include more than 2 images!

One should go and look at them, due to weight and maybe moving around the cabinets may look a little rough ... but at least one could listen to them, they should have some nice deep bass

This is an old TMR ad that has more and better pictures (not the exact pair for sale, of course)

Geez, I wish my 110’s had mid and treble trim switches.

In beautiful like new condition. Guys kid bought them down. Kid said they are great with music. He didn't say anything about the lows and I didn't ask. :p These are 4 inch woofers. To compare I have my excellent Boston a23 that have 3 inch woofer and terrific wide sounding Dome tweeter in my bedroom setup. Testing stay tuned.

So far I'm not impressed with the tweeter. :( I guess titanium tweeters are not my bag. Hardly any Soundstage and clarity/treble is good, but flat sounding. Center vocal imaging is good though and slightly hollowed. These well are more suited for their intentions background. For $25 they are OK. These can't replace my beloved Boston. Hells no. Diana Krall & Fiona Apple who have superb SQ recording sounded dull. The Journey continues. Maybe a better tweeter could save these as a DIY. Thoughts? I used it without a sub and with it on. Didn't make a difference.

Did you put your ears next to the tweeters, they may have been over-driven by the former owners ... Tweeter switching will cost about double what you spent. If there is some sound coming from the tweeters, then sell them to break even.

I did check they are working fine. You are probably right they probably are stressed from previous use or it's the tweeter that is not for me. I threw back the Boston on and what a major difference. The Boston even has bass that is decent. I'll probably resell them and will be honest only great for background only.

I think they may be stressed, they should not be so called polite speakers ... one last question, were the wires hooked up positive and negative correctly to the MB Q speakers.

Yep hooked it up right. Tweeter on the outside look good no tiny holes.

It would have to do with the voice coils inside -- I have not heard this model ... but if someone knew how to check the voice coils on the tweeters, then it would be interesting to know the result. ... but as in all things audio some prefer one speaker over another. ... you should be able to sell them
