hey guys how does the Denon 6700H compare with the Marantz SR8012?

I think it is also based on reviews and some decent bench test results, by Audioholics.com, soundandvision.com and Audiosciencereview.com, and probably price too.

Might also have to do with Denon outselling Marantz by a lot, too (8:1 per our industry source).

Well... as far as your thread title asks I don't think that's your best bang for buck solution. You could do a lot more with your money as far as having the best sound, but...

It's a good avr.
