Merry Christmas!
As noted yesterday, I received my SVS PB-2000 which is pending setup. That said, I'm rethinking my setup and considering quality over quantity --- a KISS mindset. Rather than throwing good dollars towards a room that is an acoustical nightmare, it seems to me that a quality 3.1 setup may be a better choice. Create a decent front stage and call it a day. Am I crazy?
If I choose to go that direction, what Dolby setting on my Denon AVR 1912 would accommodate movie watching without losing the output usually directed to side and/or rear speakers?
Is 3.1 a legitimate option for my hot rod shop setup?
Thank you, Ken
