Need help comparing and deciding [SDP-75,Altitude 16,SDP-55]

As title says I'm interested in audio control x7,x9 and the JBL SDP 55 AND SDP 75. Also wanted to know if it's worth spending extra to get the trinnov altitude 16 . Also wanted to know if there is a trinnov altitude with eArc. Really want to know the difference in quality and sound. I know the SDP 75 versus the SDP 55, one has dirac and the other has the trinnov Optimizer, also heard somebody say that the JBL 75 doesnt have the 3d imaging capabilities that the altitude 16 has so the optimizer feature on that isnt worth it, I dont know if its true.. Need some help clearing some of this up and deciding. What's worth getting since I'm spending 10k on a pre amp / processor. Getting my speakers from salk sound in a few months. Gonna need a sick pre amp pro to go with it. Thanks in advance, much love. You guys rock on this website.

I'm a big fan of the HTP-1 and that is stilltop of my list right now for dream components.
All of these have issues, but the HTP-1 is pretty much fully functional and is just waiting on the Bass Management from Dirac, and maybe a few other very minor things. :) The AVS HTP-1 Owners Thread is very informative, and the nitpicking the cats over there get into is testament to the amazing job ATI and Monoprice are doing with that Pre-Pro.

I was interested in that at one point. What issues are you referring to btw? Just trying to get the best I can for the price range of 5k-10k with eARc

Also heard emotiva is better quality from a couple people. I don't know if it's TRUE just stating that, might have been about the big 2 channels and 7 channels amps from them though.

Hmm, just took a look at it and seems to have dirac and dirac bass management, with eArc. What's the price Range? Also any reviews? @lovinthehd

Last I checked, all of the others in that category haven't been functioning flawlessly out of the box. Emotiva especially. Emo has a lot of fan boys, but several over at AVS have dumped Emo, JBL, and Trinnov for HTP1.
Ultimately, it's just working.
I don't have a pony in this race, so take it all with a grain of salt, but the other offerings in the Super-Processor category are still flawed as best I can tell.
YMMV
;)

I would urge checking out the various threads on AVS and maybe even ASR.
This is the HTP-1 thread:

If you are seriously considering spending that kinda coin on one of these, spend the time and see what the other users are experiencing and talking about. :)

What's the Datasat offering over the HTP-1, other than bespoke pricing?

I see. When is the Monoprice htp 1 receiving bass control updates ? Also very interested in the storm audio ISP MK2. Looks like a beast.

want to know the difference in quality and sound.
The main difference among any pre-pro is the EQ system, namely the Auto Room Correction.

Have you listened to any of these Auto Room EQ software (Dirac vs Trinnov vs Audyssey vs Anthem)?

Everyone has a different opinion on these different Auto Room EQ.

Some prefer one Auto EQ over the others. Some prefer no EQ at all.

Just audyssey ,but I've heard dirac is the shiznit from countless people. Also I'm pretty much such on the monoprice HTP1 due to the functionality compared to the arcam av variants having tons of bugs with dirac and dirac BC. Gonna get the Htp1 then slowly upgrade the storm audio ISP MK2. appreciate the help.and opunions. Anyone have opinions on the monolith x amplifiers? Made by ATI I believe which is huge plus, is there a better amp I could get or is that going to be just fine for quality and longevity? The Speakers are going to be salk sound ss9.5, SS8BE,SS6M and salk sound surround plus.

ATI makes amps for several brands and they all seem solid choices.

I've already voiced my approval of the HTP-1. Hope you have a good experience! Please share with us, regardless!

Re: Amps... the Monoliths are supposed to be good.
Depending on your funding, I still like putting Outlaw 2220s on the front 3. Likewise, a case could be made for Hypex Ncore or Purifi Class D Amps.

I feel you. Any chance you could tell me a little bit about classic d vs class a a/b? I used to run sundown audio class d monoblocks for my subwoofers in my car a year or two back. But in home theater speakers? Just need a little info on what would be BEST for the speakers I would be running.
