One thing to note here
It's pretty clear from the vids and footage that not only did that dude resist arrest take the taser
But when officers gave pursuit he pointed it back at them what is failed to mention is that if he tases the officer he know has access to his gun
You fail your sobriety test creating a disturbance you resist arrest obviously the cops are trying to hold back or he wouldn't have broke free and taken a taser in the first place you point something at a cop you took from him that could escalate the situation into a deadly one I'm sorry your ass is getting shot
Id say let's look at the full investigation but they've already fired the officer and suspended another without really due process
It's pretty apparent that they are just trying to do anything to placate the mob
Who in spite of everything including the officer getting fired still burned down the Wendy's as if the store had anything to do with it
This is getting out of hand there is nothing you can do to make them satisfied at this point on psych floors going hands on is our last option but if they become destructive enough and danger themselves and others you gotta do it you have to set a limit
If they don't stop pussyfooting around and start cracking down on not the protesters but the rioters it's just going to encourage not just the ones using the BLM movement it's gonna just encourage it period to escalate from anyone
If you tie the cops hands too much then you are just going to have to bring in the military anyway which we all don't want especially with Trump behind the wheel
They need to draw a hard line or just like on the psych units you lose control. We respect our patients we don't even use psychical restraints we are a restraint free facility but the patients also know if they endanger themselves staff or other patients if they cross that line it's hands on there getting restrained chemical intervention in shots and placed into seclusion
I see similarities in this it's gone on long enough it's time they start to draw a line eventually the MOB and that's what it's becoming are going to force them to draw it anyway
