Yes. Waf exists. Waf is stupid. We both have waf here. Wife approval factor, and wills approval factor. In other words, I live here too, and pay for the mortgage so guess what. I get at least 50% vote.is the Wife Approval Factor (W.A.F.) an urban legend?

I also find it interesting. I have utmost respect for my wife and value her opinion. That street goes two ways here, and we always consult each other on bigger things. While we almost never completely agree, we always find a good middle ground where we can both be satisfied. She wouldn’t feel right in not seeking my opinion, and would never not let me “check” hers. I’m also good at picking my battles, and let her have her way if I really don’t give a damn. Might act like it though just to mess her up a bit.i find this W.A.F. interesting.
what makes these wives believe that their husband requires an approval from them?
And no one should have a sound bar. HaYes. Waf exists. Waf is stupid. We both have waf here. Wife approval factor, and wills approval factor. In other words, I live here too, and pay for the mortgage so guess what. I get at least 50% vote.
We usually consult each other and agree on things so it stays fair. I read about guys who have to get approval, and sign their life away just to get a soundbar. That’s ridiculous. No one spouse should have absolute say. Fukk that.
Agreed! Waf or not.And no one should have a sound bar. Ha
Totally with you, lovin! You could just use the ambiguous appellation of S.A.F. (Spouse Approval Factor).....for you bonded up folk. I just need my own approval and its not lonely or sad....and involves no child support. We gots single wimmens around, too.
Double winner to this!I also find it interesting. I have utmost respect for my wife and value her opinion. That street goes two ways here, and we always consult each other on bigger things. Nice! I think my wife would be fine with tv speakers(maybe not), but knowing I’m happy is part of her obligation to me I guess. Even though my system is an eyesore to her, she’s never impose her will and be happy if I wasn’t happy as well.Totally with you, lovin!
If she had her way, I wouldn’t have any rig but a sh!tty upgrade to the HTIB... I just reminded her that I get to make decisions too. At that point all she did was ask to not do it in the great room, thus I have a private rig I get to drive when and where I want!
I suppose next you're going to tell me you did all this to get not only your own gear selection, but also get a room and solitude to go with it rather than have to share it with others in the great room? Crafty? Just a lucky bybroduct? I think it is quite civil to have man caves (multiple) as well as she-caves....heck even separate bedrooms can work for some I've known.Totally with you, lovin!

I had my office (the room you may have seen in the photos I posted),she had an office, a 'changing room', and dibs on the garage space. (I have closet space in the Master Bedroom... she got a whole room! )I suppose next you're going to tell me you did all this to get not only your own gear selection, but also get a room and solitude to go with it rather than have to share it with others in the great room? She makes more money?I had my office (the room you may have seen in the photos I posted),she had an office, a 'changing room', and dibs on the garage space. (I have closet space in the Master Bedroom... she got a whole room! )
My office is now my listening room. She has her stuff. I have mine.
I think the magical part was when she complained about the TV I bought, and I had to remind her that she has the last TV I bought for us, and that she asked me to not play video games or listen to my music out there in the main room.
She made her bed. I just refused to roll over and play dead.
I ain't no dog!
HA!She makes more money?
