Really really weird issue with Denon 4400H I could use some help with

Also, I noticed you both have DRC set to auto. I would turn it off unless you have a reason to use Dynamic range compression. Can’t think of a good reason. If you have people in the house that you don’t want to disturb, Dolby volume or Audysseys dynamic volume are probably easier to activate and disable.

It says Dolby Surround but I bet you money if I play the movie it'll go to Atmos thats what it did yesterday. Oh what a relief. So far so good. That is so friggin weird man. I'm going to play the movie for a bit then let you know if everything is still okay. I'll definitely be looking out for it but it won't be hard to miss the distortion is huge. Like an electrical buzz. One thing my bd player was offline maybe that was part of it? Weird man weird

There is an audio button on bottom right of remote. There is a display button below that if you want to see the bandwidth of the picture and sound processing in real time.

It sets it automatically once I play the movie dude turning off that DRC made a big difference it sounds clearer. And I don't have to push the volume up so much maybe that's just me being so excited it's fixed tho

I hate DRC and volume levelers etc. dumb... if my people wanna sleep while I’m watching a movie they can shut their door.
