Dual citizen, Canadian and British; also well traveled. Take your pick where I live now, either way he has insulted us. As I said in an earlier post, he is bullying people thinking they won't retaliate. It's like spin the bottle, wherever it points, he chooses to bully them next.
How about yourself? American born and raised? In my experience, most Americans I have dealt with in my life know very little about anywhere except their own stomping ground, "under the dome" of the United States. I'd elaborate, but I have a feeling offense will be taken.
Don't worry about insulting me as an American (yep, US born and raised). Personally, anti-American sentiment from other countries has never bothered me. For example, it makes me rather proud for the US to be called "The Great Satan" by Islamic regimes. I thought the Trump blimp in London recently was funny, if a little underwhelming given the buildup by main stream media, but it certainly did not insult me (or Trump). To be hated, I guess, you have to matter.
As far as Britain goes, I would argue that Trump enjoys some support there, particularly in the north. President Trump has never said anything negative (that I have ever heard or read) about the citizens of the UK. He has had his moments with Khan, but as London's crime rate has skyrocketed, I understand that Khan's popularity has tanked somewhat. As for the troubled May, my hope is that Boris will successfully challenge her if an early election happens.
Trump and DTJr have supported the great Nigel Farage as well as Tommy Robinson, Paul Golding, Jayda Fransen, and others fighting for the UK to come to its senses. I always wanted to visit England, possibly enjoy something like a month there. But now that I'm older and can well afford it, the idea no longer appeals to me.
