Considering either one of these to buy. Which is a better choice? What do you guys think? The differences are high lighted.

The 1080 has preouts in case you need an external amp. The 1070 might be cheaper than the 1080.

For the same money, I also prefer the 1080/F5.2 combination. From what I can see, the larger F6.2 would offer no advantage unless used without subwoofer. I suspect those speakers should always be used with a subwoofer and crossover set high.

The only way 1080 is better than 1070 is if Yamaha has hidden hdmi 2.1 abilities in there that can be enabled in a future firmware update. I don’t think that is the case though.
