linking two rx-v2095 yamaha rec.

linking these rec. rec out to tape in on second rx-v2095, wanting to remote control each seperatly,, however, main remote will control both units at same time, can i use zone two remote, without patching into zone two, or get universal remote, and would it also control first rx? witch i do not wish to happen, i may have to use manual controls?

well i am linking four rec. together in one room, same zone, this i know how to do that, my question again, is i would like to use both of my rx-v2095's, however i wish to remote control them independently, now, my main remote control, will control both units at once, witch i do not want

What are you using the two for? Are you using the amps in the second and first for VC? Without understanding your goal, it's hard to help.

Acually there will be four for stereo/tv in large room, for total control of tone and volume, on each pr. Speakers, sorry our internet went out, had to use phone, back on now though u

The only advice I currently offer with the limited information is to get a universal remote with a rf to ir receiver and assign the ir outputs for each. That means you would have 2 yamaha AVRs in the remote control. I'd expect this may not be feasible as there aren't many choices that are inexpensive and most require a dealer program. Havent looked to see if harmony remotes can do this, but RTI, URC, Crestron, and other higher end remotes.

each rec. will power, one pair of speakers, sort of like a volume cotrolled zone box, wich i have tried, robbed my volume on added speakers, with this application, each pair will have their own power and remote control, all i need to know is their a way to utilize a pair of rx-v2095's and control remotly, without one interfering with the other's volume ect. as the are on same remote freqency's

The scenario I described will work just fine, but as you described above seems to be your option at this point. If the AVRs are far enough apart, you can use an ir repeater to extend the distance and control one unit that way.

IIRC you had posted a pic of your setup at one point. I realize that your trying to maximize what you have, just dont remember the just of it.

thanks for the input, it's personal pref. as i do not like effect or surround, only stereo out of each amp'a main channel, my set up will work, if i have to, i can take one rx-v2095 out of the loop,, and use another rec. wich i'm in no shortage of, trying to put them to use
